WHY AFRICAN TURQUOISE
African turquoise isn't actually turquoise. It is a variety of jasper prized for the blue-green color and natural matrix that give it the appearance of turquoise.
And those variations are exactly why we chose it.
Look closely and you'll see greens, muted blues, earthy browns and darker markings moving from bead to bead.
No two stones are exactly alike.
Cut into slim heishi discs, those individual variations come together almost like woven color around your wrist.
Nature did the hard part. We just knew what to put beside it.
